Production of the JSC "Avtodizel"

Today the enterprise lets out two families of 6-, 8-, 12-cylinder diesel engines  including  more  than  45  models  and  100  complete  sets. According to the "National strategy of development of motor industry in the Russian Federation", and also the Interstate program of Byelorussia
and Russia the "Development of diesel automotive industry", the JSC "Avtodizel" has developed the long-term program of modernisation and the organization of production of the modernized and new highly effective power units of wide usage with increased consumer qualities of tech - nical, economic and  ecological  parameters. This  program  suggests conforming to becoming more strict (in 3 years) international standards of EEC United Nations of harmful components content in exhaust gases, decrease of vibroactivity and noisiness, fuel and oil consumption, and also increase of the level of speeding up of engines with expansion of power range and achievement of high reliability and durability in operation.

Perfection of the design of produced engines of the family 140х130 mm and creation of new models on their base.:

At present the manufacture of modernized turbocharged 6- and 8-cylinder YaMZ engines conforming to EiCO-1 standards is mastered: YaMZ-236NE with power of 230 h.p; YaMZ-236BE - 250 h.p.; YaMZ-238BE - 300 h.p.; YaMZ-238DE - 330 h.p. Engines are watercooled; one-section oil pump that allows to install coolers of turbocharged air on automobiles. Some modifications of 6-cylinder engines (basically for ZIL cars) stipulate the installation of V-shaped fuel
pumps of high pressure manufactured by YaZDA. The coupling of switch of the fan is installed for the decrease of noise level.
